Meet Ali Bailey. Ali is your Steel Mags Coordinator. She lives with her hub, OJ and girls, Eden (18) & Olivia (9th grader) on the Central Coast in CA. In 2009, her family retired out of 1st Group in WA. Prior to that they did team time at 5th Group in KY/TN and shared their first duty station at Ft. Bragg….a long time ago. Married for 25 years, this Steel Mag shares YES, marriage is tough work. By the grace of God they are standing together and pushing on with their life post retirement. During GB life Ali stayed involved with the FRG in leadership and fundraising. She is now a full-time Executive Director for a local non-profit that funds arts in her daughter's school district. She volunteers in her community with several organizations and with her daughter’s high school. In her spare time she enjoys gardening, being outside enjoying her animals, her book club and meeting new people. She looks forward to trying a new hobby with the hub. They recently took a stained glass class together and it was true marriage builder. She’s excited to be a part of the Steel Mags sisterhood especially as a Nomad when civilian life sometimes feels disconnected. We are happy to have her on our team.
